Prepare, Don’t Panic
Prepare, Don’t Panic
We live in a time where everything is changing suddenly.
There are many frightened people emitting lots of negative energy.
All this additional tension can be very difficult on empaths and those with a sensitive nature and sometimes it may be best to withdraw and center.
We may find ourselves taking a rest and staying at home more while the world tuns wildly around us and feeling somewhat tenuous.
A good way to counter fear is through preparedness and education. Home is a safe space and it makes sense one might want to hunker down during times of uncertainty.
For people like myself who homestead and live close to the earth with herbal and food gardens, there is much less noticeable change to the daily hymn of life. There is comfort in the many daily tasks that need to be done and the cycles of seasonal changes.
As I do these things I am able to remain fully grounded. I tell myself I have all I need at this moment and this moment is calm.
No matter where or how you live, you can apply these techniques.
Reach deep into your years of spiritual evolution and find your source
Doing what is right in front of you, no matter how mundane or repetitive, can be very healing medicine. It is the ultimate manifestation of the great philosopher’s words to be in the moment.
Breathe, take stock of where you are and try to find some humor in each day. Prepare for a long spiritual sabbatical and downtime.
Read some long books, take an online class, exercise, dance, walk, play with your pet. Stock up on some staples and treats your life.
Have a book inside you? Now is the time to write it out.
You can order just about anything you need online.
Plant a small garden with healing flowers if you have room, or create a container garden.
Having plants and flowers around can emit a lot of peaceful serenity that you will need as you continue to work.
In the coming weeks, more and more people may be calling for help.
Channeling your own abilities and gifts to help another is one of the fastest ways to step out of your own fears.
Since we have the great blessing of working from home, this could be easier for us than most.
Even if you don’t feel up to it, try working a little each day to help another.
