The Top Five things to Never Say During a Psychic Interview

by | Jul 11, 2018 | PsychicPRO Jobs | 5 comments

In my 20 years of recruiting and interviewing psychics there are certain key things I am looking and listening for.

These apply whether you are a seasoned reader or a new one.

Remember, this is a professional job interview like any other one and you have one chance to make your first impression. It’s important to be reliable, honest, and upbeat.

What you say and how you say it will have great impact on the hiring process.

You may disqualify yourself if you:

Lie about your experiences. Each network has different guidelines for interviewing but all of them are on the lookout for honest readers. You may be asked for references, prior supervisors or what lines you have worked for and for how long. Not all positions suit everyone and that is fine. If you don’t have any prior experience, just be honest.

Exaggerate your gifts or pretend to be something you are not. Not all readers specialize in all things. Some psychics have a specific forte such as finding lost items or remote viewing. It is perfectly fine to say you are not skilled in certain areas. Focus on what you do excel in and what makes your gifts unique.

Say negative things about any prior network, caller or supervisor you have worked for. If you left a position for any reason it is acceptable to just say you felt uncomfortable there but going into a lengthy negative dialogue or complaining about job expectations or pay etc. is unprofessional and unappreciated. Negativity, perhaps more than anything, will not help you find work in an industry that focuses on positivity and healing.

Provide Doom and Gloom readings. I cannot tell you how many times I asked someone for a brief reading and they immediately blurted a dire warning about someone dying, accidents or ill health or begin the reading with ‘I’m sorry to tell you this but…” Even though you may pull certain cards, or “sense” something around someone, always use your best discretion and focus on the spiritual or positive aspects.

Argue or insist on being right. If you ask for validation back from the person you are reading for and they seem uncertain about your words do not insist that they should be accepting them. Not everything you say is going to connect with everyone and that is fine. The ability to connect with someone goes deeper than just your words, so if this happens to you, just honor them and continue with your work. Arguing on any job interview may not bode well for future employment.

Try to be relaxed during your interview, be open, honest and upbeat. Let your gifts shine and so will you?

I became aware of my gifts at age 3 when I began seeing spirits in my room.

My mother and grandmother were both gifted and from a very young age, I was taught to respect nature and to read her signs along with herbalism, tarot cards, and healing.

I have worked in the healing and psychic world for many years and have taught, read and counseled and written.  I trained with many masters and have studied to enhance my gifts in Italy, Greece and many places in the US.

I work with PsychicPRO as a writer and to help readers find their best possible employment in an environment that enhances and honors their abilities. It is an honor to do this work and I look forward to helping you do yours.
